P2P連場硬仗 Startup與銀行是敵是友？

最近半年香港湧現P2P（個人對個人）支付平台，而且戰況頗為激烈，銀通、八達通及香港電訊，分別開發JETCO Pay P2P、好易畀、拍住賞， TNG也吸引許多傳媒報道。新參戰的銀傳是另外一間P2P轉賬的Startup，標榜要取代支票，現時為「數碼港培育計劃」成員。銀傳電子錢包接通了本港主要銀行戶口，用戶使用手機，選擇從戶口提取現金來增值電子錢包，也可以直接過數予朋友，每天交易額上限為1.5萬元，不需出門到實體店舖增值，之後用戶可在App內選擇把剩餘的金錢轉回戶口。今年香港資訊及通訊科技獎的「最佳金融科技（銀行及保險）獎」，亦向銀傳頒發「優異證書」。

Hong Kong residents and small businesses can now do away with writing paper cheques or paying fees for interbank transfers thanks to Yintran, a financial technology start-up that allows its users to conduct money transfers for free online. Founded in 2014, the Hong Kong-based money transfer network has over 20 partner banks in Hong Kong, and currently supports transfers for bank accounts in Hong Kong dollars or Chinese yuan.

Not since the launch of the Octopus card has payments achieved any significant innovation – at least for Hong Kong. Even as other parts of the world are experimenting or embracing digital models of payment, the humble check (cheque) has remained an accepted, even begrudgingly, form of payment. That said there are calls particularly by consumers and banks for better and more efficient ways of paying for goods and services. After all, behind the scene both cash and checks incur transaction costs.
